 The Arthritis Unit at Larkin Community Hospital offers intensive rehabilitation. Therapeutic treatments and activities are specifically tailored toward each patient's needs by Rheumatologists and Pain Specialists.
These treatments are administered by skilled physical and occupational therapists. Our multidisciplinary staff of nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, and social services provide information on nutrition, the role of medication, relaxation techniques, and mental health classes throughout a 1 week program.
Patients are taught to modify their lifestyles to help improve their quality of life and prevent future injuries.
